Call for Papers in ASEAN Journal of Process Control

The ASEAN Journal of Process Control (AJPC) is a peer-reviewed journal (eISSN: 2976-4009) sponsored by the Malaysia Process Control Society (MyPCS), which has been publishing issues since 2022. AJPC is inviting submissions of papers for its Volume 6, Issue 1, scheduled for publication in 2027. The papers submitted could be an original research paper, a review paper or a short communication.

Authors could refer to the AJPC website for the topics typically covered by the journal. Additionally, submissions of manuscripts related to other areas are also encouraged, particularly the reports in the areas of energy systems, waste treatment and biofuels.

The AJPC aims to complete the publication process in approximately 8-10 weeks from the submission date.

The AJPC has been collecting high-quality papers, necessary for applying for registration in Scopus citation. Currently, the AJPC journal is indexed in the Google Scholar. We invite authors/researchers to submit their manuscripts to the AJPC for building the capacity of the journal to disseminate quality reports. Your contributions to the journal are highly valued.

  The Process Control Virtual Symposium (PCVS2023) is a one-day event organized on 2nd December 2023. The virtual symposium aims to provide a convenient platform for researchers and practitioners to share their research and experience dealing with complex problems affecting the industry, society and environment today. As society endeavours to switch to sustainable development in response to non-renewable resource depletion and environmental issues, it is vital to develop new ideas and concepts in process control which in the past has played an instrumental role in supporting the rapid progress in the process industry. Now as never before, with the advances of artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IOTs), vast data are available, but their effective means of utilization to support the switch to sustainable development remain immature. The PCVS2023 attempts in a small way to initiate a conducive platform to spark interest among researchers and industrial practitioners to share new ideas, to propose new conceptual as well as mathematical frameworks and to articulate new problems that can help the development of process control to play a vital role in sustainable development.

• Call for papers 1st Issue of ASEAN Journal of Process Control (AJPC)

  Dear Respected Authors,

  We like to invite the respected authors to submit their papers to the ASEAN Journal of Process Control (AJPC), which will tentatively publish its first issue in 2022. The AJPC is an open-access journal with no processing fee for the paper publication. 

  The AJPC journal is affiliated with the Malaysian Process Control Society (MyPCS) and represents the first Journal in Process Control originating from the ASEAN Region. The goal of the AJPC is to promote research in process control and applications with some emphasis on several new developments related to the I.R.4.0. Note that the aims and objectives of the AJPC cover various topics related to process control and applications.

  For this first issue, the authors may submit any one type of the following papers:

  1. Full paper of original research
  2. Short communication or an overview paper
  3. Extended conference paper

  The papers submitted to AJPC should not have been published or submitted to other journals.
