1st Process Control Sysmposium (PCVS2023) - extension of abstract submission due date 16th Oct. 2023

Dear respected authors,

We have extended the due date for the abstract submission to the 1st Process Control Virtual Symposium (PCVS2023) to 16th October 2023. The abstract submission link is at: https://forms.gle/TCXc1uu1E5mVZeZb8

We also will organize MATLAB program (simulation) competition on the same day as the symposium. 

Aims and Scope

The virtual symposium covers the following topics:

  • Machine Learning
  • Soft Sensors
  • Control Design and Applications
  • Digital Twin
  • Process Control Education
  • Process Control Roles in Sustainable Development
  • Process Modelling
  • Optimization

Besides the topics above, the participants can also present related studies which can enhance the richness of the process control field, such as molecular dynamics simulation, energy system simulation and many others.

All papers are subject to peer review. The accepted papers will appear in the special issue of the ASEAN Journal of Process Control (eISSN: 2976-4009). The presentation and publication are free-of-charge.

Submission

Guidelines for Abstract Submission:

  • Submission Deadline: Abstracts due date is 16 October 2023 for presentation at PCVS 2023.
  • Word Limit: Abstracts should not exceed 300 words. This limit includes all sections of the abstract.
  • Language: All abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • Originality: Abstracts should represent original research, developments, or insights. Previously published work or abstracts will not be accepted.
  • Relevance: Ensure that your abstract is aligned with the themes and topics of PCVS 2023. Check the symposium website for a list of relevant areas.
  • Review Process: All submitted abstracts will undergo a peer-review process. Notifications of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding authors by 30 October 2023.
  • Presenter Registration: If your abstract is accepted, at least one author must register for PCVS 2023 by 15 November 2023 to confirm the presentation slot.
  • Presentation Format: Detailed instructions will be provided upon acceptance.
