Welcome
AP. Ir. Dr. Syamsul Rizal Abd. Shukor - President MyPCS
Welcome
Welcome to the Official Website of the Malaysia Process Control Society (MyPCS). Ever since its inception way back in 2013, MyPCS aims to establish itself as a platform for academicians, including postgraduates and undergraduates to have research collaboration and share any other possible research opportunities in process control, modeling and simulation. The creation of this website is hoped to spur further these activities, as well as a channel to keep all members updated on the current and future activities. It is also our hope that with the creation of this website would help the undergraduate students and public to know more and have a good understanding of the concept of process control and its application in day-to-day activities and industries. I hope that the collaborative expertise and sharing will pave the way for sterling accomplishments in process control research and applications in Malaysia. Together, we’ll carve a brighter future for MyPCS.
On behalf of the committee, I would like to welcome all of you to Malaysia Process Control Society!

About Us
A Brief History of MyPCS
Malaysia Process Control Society (MyPCS) is a group of academicians from various institutions across Malaysia who has a common interest in the areas of process control, modeling and simulation. The idea of establishing MyPCS was initiated during a random discussion after a viva session at Universiti Sains Malaysia between Prof. Yudi Samyudia (Curtin University Sarawak), Prof. Azlan (Universiti Malaysia), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Syamsul Rizal (Universiti Sains Malaysia), Prof. Dr. Zainal (Universiti Sains Malaysia), and Dr. Norashid (Universiti Sains Malaysia).
Subsequent to the discussion, MyPCS had its first meeting during 1st National Colloquium on Process Control (NCPC) in October 2013, which was organized by PCRG at SERC Complex, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Engineering Campus, Nibong Tebal, Penang. The meeting was attended by MPC -C representatives from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Universiti Malaya, and Curtin University Sarawak.
Mission & Vision
MyPCS is formed as a platform for academicians, including postgraduates and undergraduates to have research collaboration, networking and linkages as well as to share or update relevant events and/or activities in the areas of process control, modeling and simulation.
